Some nice additions to this coin blog. These are 1955-D mint mark wheat back pennies. All are your average circulated condition American cents pulled out of my stash. The one on the bottom right is pretty gross, as you can tell I don't clean my coins.
I think most collectors are against the idea of cleaning old coins because even if you are gentle with them you are still going to take off some of the metal along with the dirt.
