Average Circulated Condition 1956-D Mint Mark Wheat Back Pennies

Here are some more 1956-D mint mark wheat back pennies I pulled for my massive collection. These look like they are in average circulated condition like 99% of the pennies I have. If you look to the edge of two of these coins you'll see that the L in Liberty is dangerously close to the edge. However it's not close enough to be considered an error. Although you'll see many people on auction sites like eBay trying to sell coins like these as mint mark error coins I can assure you they are not.

That's one thing you have to be really careful about when purchasing circulated condition wheat pennies. It seems like everyone out there is trying to make a buck and they have no problem with ripping you off. Always be extra cautious about buying coins online or even from brick and mortar dealers. Before making a purchase it's better to take images of the coins you're interested in and sharing the pictures with friends to get their opinions first.

This will avoid a lot of headaches in the long run. There's nothing worse than wasting your time and hard earned money on a coin that you thought was fairly valuable only to find out you've been ripped off by an unscrupulous seller. Fraud is out there everywhere in the coin Market so be careful.
