Today I have four 1955 no mint mark wheat back pennies to share with you. I wish these were the error double stamps from this year. 1955 was the year the wheat penny saw one of it's most obvious mint errors. During mintage a small but significant sum of pennies got a double strike but the second strike was so off that no one could miss it. I'm not sure if it was this penny or the D mint mark that has the error.
If you do find one of these error pennies you will know you have one right away because the error is so obvious. You will also find yourself many thousands of dollars richer.
